Couple of days ago G-Suite customers were getting emails from Google to beta test for their upcoming major redesign to web interface. Google is launching an EAP (Early Adopter Program) for new experence in Gmail, it was reported by TechCrunch. It is not only about the design, they also introducing some of their new features like smart reply, offline support and snoozing emails. Below is the invitation email screenshot.
One reader of AndroidAuthority has received the new Gmail design. Here is the screenshot of the new interface of the web gmail.
From the screenshot we can find the new style adaptation of Google like the rounded compose button, the “snooze” action can be activated after clicking the clock icon. In the bottom section there are smart reply options which was already implemented in gmail mobile interface. But the biggest change is the toolbar of the right sidebar where you can find Google Keep, Google Tasks and Google Calendar plugins. After clicking on any of the buttons the option expand from sidebar and you can quick access to your calendar, notes and other plugins. Also there is an option to revert back to gmail old look.
Well overall it looks much trendy than the previous design. The new features like email snoozing is something I would love to use and also the smart replies.
